This cooking group will meet on the 2nd Thursday of every month. It is a place to meet as friends, get new recipes and maybe even learn some new cooking skills.


Black Beans and Rice

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 medium onion
2 tomatoes
1/2 cup salsa
2 cups cooked rice

Saute onion and tomato until tender, add black beans and salsa. Serve on top of rice.

Serves about 4.

  1. You can also replace the fresh tomato with canned, petite cut and it works good
